us introduce you to NIK, the “Nuremberg association for the ICT sector“.
This regionally established organisation is supported by more than 80 members
working in the information and communication technology sector, located in the
Greater Nuremberg area.
ABOUT
NIK
As
new information and communication technology changes the world and inspires
society to new working possibilities, organisations are needed where
participation and B-2-B exchange can take place. In 1994 NIK was initiated in
order to form a linkage between local business management and executives of
local and regional governments.
NIK
members are formed by well-known production, procurement, and service companies
and network operators. Moreover, we embrace heads of universities and scientific
research institutes. NIK has contacts with representatives from the Bavarian
state government and the city councils of Erlangen, Fuerth and Nuremberg. The
Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Trade Unions are co-operative
partners of NIK.
